Housekeeping Supervisor

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Housekeeping Supervisor to lead and monitor room attendants and cleaning staff within our luxury property. The candidate will oversee daily room inspections, maintain quality and hygiene standards, manage inventory supplies, and ensure guest accommodations meet the highest-level hotel expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Quality Inspections: Inspect guest rooms, public corridors, and service areas daily to ensure compliance with 5-star cleanliness and presentation standards.

• Team Supervision: Assign daily room cleaning tasks, monitor staff performance, and provide training on sanitation procedures and cleaning techniques.

• Inventory Management: Track linen, cleaning chemicals, room amenities, and equipment supplies, placing restocking requests as needed.

• Maintenance Reporting: Identify maintenance issues, damaged items, or mechanical defects in rooms and submit work orders to Engineering.

• Lost & Found: Enforce lost and found protocols for items left in guest rooms and log all property securely.

• Guest Requests: Handle guest inquiries, special room setups, and housekeeping complaints promptly and professionally.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Diploma in Hospitality Management is a plus.

• Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years of supervisory experience in housekeeping within 4-star or 5-star hotels.

• Skills: Strong leadership, eye for detail, time management, and basic understanding of property management software (e.g., Opera PMS).

• Languages: Good command of English; conversational Arabic is beneficial.

• Physical Requirements: Ability to walk, inspect, and remain active on feet during shifts.
