Asaya Lounge Waiter

As an Asaya Lounge Waiter, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to guests in the elegant and relaxing atmosphere of the Asaya Lounge. Your responsibilities will include taking orders, serving food and beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring guests have a memorable experience.

**Key Responsibilities:**

1. **Guest Service:** Greet guests warmly as they enter the Asaya Lounge, assist with seating arrangements, and provide menus. Attend to guests’ needs throughout their visit, ensuring a high level of hospitality and attention to detail.

2. **Order Taking:** Take orders accurately and efficiently, using a POS system to enter orders and ensure prompt service. Offer recommendations and describe menu items to enhance the guest experience.

3. **Food and Beverage Service:** Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously, ensuring accuracy in orders and adherence to presentation standards. Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.

4. **Menu Knowledge:** Maintain a thorough understanding of the Asaya Lounge menu, including food and beverage offerings, ingredients, and preparation methods. Stay informed about specials and promotions to inform guests.

5. **Upselling and Promotion:** Proactively suggest menu items, specials, and beverages to guests to enhance their experience and increase revenue. Encourage guests to try new dishes and beverages.

6. **Table Maintenance:** Monitor tables for cleanliness and organization, clearing empty plates, glassware, and utensils promptly. Reset tables efficiently for incoming guests and ensure they are properly set up.

7. **Cash Handling:** Process guest payments accurately, handling cash and credit card transactions securely. Reconcile checks and provide receipts to guests in a professional manner.

8. **Guest Relations:** Build rapport with guests, anticipate their needs, and respond promptly to requests and inquiries. Address any concerns or feedback with a positive attitude and a commitment to resolving issues.

9. **Safety and Sanitation:** Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines, including proper food handling practices and cleanliness standards. Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.

10. **Team Collaboration:** Work collaboratively with other staff members, including bartenders, servers, and management, to ensure smooth operations and exceptional service. Communicate effectively to coordinate orders and provide seamless service to guests.

**Qualifications:**

1. Previous experience as a waiter or server in a restaurant, lounge, or hospitality setting.
2. Excellent customer service skills, with a friendly and outgoing personality.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests and colleagues.
4. Basic math skills and proficiency in using POS systems for order entry and payment processing.
5. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and a focus on guest satisfaction.
6. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the demands of the lounge.
7. Professional appearance and demeanor, with a neat and well-groomed appearance.
8. Knowledge of food and beverage service procedures, including menu items and wine service.
9. Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe) preferred.
10. A positive attitude, enthusiasm for hospitality, and a genuine passion for providing memorable guest experiences.
