As a Cigar Lounge Waiter, you will provide attentive service to guests in the cigar lounge, offering a sophisticated and enjoyable experience. Your role involves assisting guests with cigar selections, serving beverages, and ensuring a comfortable atmosphere conducive to relaxation and enjoyment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

1. **Guest Service:** Welcome guests to the cigar lounge with a warm and professional demeanor. Assist guests with seating arrangements and guide cigar selections based on their preferences and knowledge level.

2. **Cigar Selection:** Offer recommendations and descriptions of cigar options available in the lounge. Assist guests in choosing cigars that suit their tastes and preferences, providing information on flavor profiles, strengths, and origins.

3. **Beverage Service:** Take beverage orders from guests and serve drinks promptly and courteously. Offer a selection of wines, spirits, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages to complement the cigar experience.

4. **Humidor Maintenance:** Ensure the humidor is properly stocked with a variety of high-quality cigars, maintaining appropriate temperature and humidity levels to preserve cigar freshness. Monitor inventory and restock cigars as needed.

5. **Cutting and Lighting:** Assist with cutting and lighting cigars for guests, ensuring proper techniques are used to enhance the cigar-smoking experience. Offer cigar accessories such as cutters, lighters, and ashtrays as needed.

6. **Tableside Service:** Attend to guests’ needs throughout their visit, including refilling drinks, clearing ashtrays, and providing additional amenities or services as requested.

7. **Knowledge of Cigars:** Maintain a thorough understanding of the cigar inventory, including brands, blends, and origins. Stay informed about new cigar releases, trends, and industry developments to provide informed recommendations to guests.

8. **Upselling and Promotion:** Promote featured cigars, special releases, and pairing recommendations to guests, encouraging additional sales and enhancing their cigar experience.

9. **Safety and Compliance:** Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines, including responsible alcohol service practices and compliance with local regulations. Monitor guest intoxication levels and intervene as necessary to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment.

10. **Guest Relations:** Build rapport with guests, anticipate their needs and provide personalized service to enhance their experience in the cigar lounge. Address any concerns or feedback promptly and professionally.

**Qualifications:**

1. Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role, preferably in a cigar lounge, bar, or upscale restaurant setting.
2. Knowledge of cigars, including brands, blends, and cigar etiquette. Certification or training in cigar service is a plus.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and engaging personality.
4. Strong customer service orientation, with a focus on guest satisfaction and attention to detail.
5. Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with colleagues to provide seamless service.
6. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the demands of the lounge.
7. Professional appearance and demeanor, with a polished and well-groomed appearance.
8. Basic knowledge of beverage service, including wine, spirits, and cocktail preparation.
