Nurse

1. Job Purpose

To provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care within a clinical setting, supporting physicians in outpatient procedures, managing patient flow, and ensuring compliance with the Saudi Ministry of Health (MOH) and SCFHS safety and quality standards.

2. Key Responsibilities Nurse

  • Patient Care: Perform initial assessments (triage), record vital signs, and document medical histories accurately in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.

  • Clinical Assistance: Assist physicians during examinations, diagnostic tests, and minor surgical or cosmetic procedures.

  • Medication Management: Administer medications and IV therapies as prescribed, ensuring strict adherence to the “Five Rights” of medication safety.

  • Patient Education: Provide pre- and post-operative instructions, educate patients on chronic disease management (e.g., diabetes, hypertension), and explain skincare or medication routines.

  • Sterilization & Hygiene: Ensure all clinical areas and medical instruments are sterilized according to infection control protocols.

  • Emergency Response: Recognize and respond to emergencies within the clinic, initiating Basic Life Support (BLS) when necessary.

  • Administrative Support: Manage appointment flow, coordinate with the laboratory for test results, and ensure medical supplies are adequately stocked.

3. Required Qualifications & Skills Nurse

  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or an Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience (clinic or hospital setting).

  • Licensure:

  • Certifications: Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory. ACLS or PALS is a plus.

  • Languages: Proficiency in English (required); Arabic language skills are highly valued for patient interaction.

  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with EHR software and Microsoft Office.

4. Mandatory Regulatory Requirements (2026 Update)

  • DataFlow Verification: Successful Primary Source Verification (PSV) of education, license, and employment history.

  • Prometric Exam: A passing score on the Saudi Nursing Licensing Exam (SNLE) (minimum 500/800).

  • Mumaris+ Account: Active registration on the SCFHS Mumaris+ portal.

  • Medical Fitness: Must pass the GAMCA (or equivalent) medical fitness test, including screenings for infectious diseases.
