Job Summary: As the Head Waiter, you will play a pivotal role in managing and supervising the front-of-house team to provide an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Your responsibilities include overseeing service, training and mentoring waitstaff, managing reservations, and ensuring a smoothly coordinated dining room operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of the waitstaff, ensuring they provide efficient, courteous, and attentive service to guests.
  2. Training: Train new waitstaff on restaurant policies, service standards, menu knowledge, and proper service techniques.
  3. Scheduling: Create and manage work schedules for the waitstaff, taking into account reservations, peak dining hours, and staff availability.
  4. Guest Interaction: Interact with guests, address any special requests or concerns, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  5. Table Assignments: Manage table assignments and ensure efficient seating of guests, especially during peak dining times.
  6. Ordering and Inventory: Oversee the ordering and stocking of necessary service supplies, including flatware, glassware, and linens.
  7. Quality Control: Ensure that all dishes are prepared correctly, meet quality standards, and are served promptly and at the correct temperature.
