Job Summary: As the Head Waiter, you will play a pivotal role in managing and supervising the front-of-house team to provide an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Your responsibilities include overseeing service, training and mentoring waitstaff, managing reservations, and ensuring a smoothly coordinated dining room operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of the waitstaff, ensuring they provide efficient, courteous, and attentive service to guests.
- Training: Train new waitstaff on restaurant policies, service standards, menu knowledge, and proper service techniques.
- Scheduling: Create and manage work schedules for the waitstaff, taking into account reservations, peak dining hours, and staff availability.
- Guest Interaction: Interact with guests, address any special requests or concerns, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Table Assignments: Manage table assignments and ensure efficient seating of guests, especially during peak dining times.
- Ordering and Inventory: Oversee the ordering and stocking of necessary service supplies, including flatware, glassware, and linens.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all dishes are prepared correctly, meet quality standards, and are served promptly and at the correct temperature.
- Billing: Oversee the accurate preparation of guest bills, processing payments, and handling any billing inquiries or discrepancies.
- Reservations: Manage reservations, ensure that they are properly tracked and communicated to the kitchen, and accommodate special requests when possible.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a waiter or server, with a proven track record of exceptional customer service.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills.

- In-depth knowledge of the restaurant’s menu, wine list, and service procedures.
- Ability to remain calm and organized in a high-pressure environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Lift and carry trays of food and beverages.
