Key Responsibilities & Duties Housekeeper

• Guest Room Cleaning: Perform complete room attendant duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, polishing furniture, and sanitizing bathrooms.

• Bed Making & Linen Care: Change bed sheets, make beds according to luxury hotel standards, and restock clean towels and bath amenities.

• Public Area Maintenance: Keep hallways, lobbies, rest areas, and service closets clean, organized, and presentable at all times.

• Inventory & Supplies: Maintain fully stocked housekeeping carts and report inventory counts for guest room supplies and cleaning chemicals.

• Maintenance Reporting: Inspect room fixtures, electrical appliances, and plumbing; report repairs or damages immediately to the engineering department.

• Health & Safety Compliance: Follow strict safety standards, chemical handling procedures (COSHH / OSHA), and health inspection guidelines.

• Guest Services: Respond quickly to guest requests, inquiries, and room service needs with a courteous and professional attitude.

• Lost & Found: Follow company protocols for handling, recording, and storing items left behind by guests.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Room Attendant, Housekeeper, or Cleaner in a hotel, resort, or luxury residential property.

• Skills: Excellent time management, high attention to detail, and knowledge of cleaning equipment and sanitization procedures.

• Communication: Conversational English skills to interact professionally with guests and team members.

• Physical Fitness: Ability to lift heavy items (up to 20 kg / 45 lbs), stand, bend, and perform physical work for extended periods.

• Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts.
