Supervisor Roof – Arabic Speaker

The Supervisor for the Rooftop Venue is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the rooftop bar/restaurant, ensuring exceptional service, high-quality food and beverages, and an excellent guest experience. This role requires proficiency in Arabic to cater to Arabic-speaking guests and staff. The Supervisor will manage staff, handle inventory, maintain health and safety standards, and support promotional activities to enhance the venue’s appeal.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Management: Oversee daily operations of the rooftop venue, ensuring smooth service and adherence to company standards. Address operational issues promptly and effectively.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, particularly to Arabic-speaking guests. Greet guests, handle inquiries, and professionally resolve complaints.
  • Staff Supervision: Lead, mentor, and supervise staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations. Foster a positive and productive work environment.
  • Quality Control: Monitor food and beverage preparation, presentation, and service to ensure consistency and high quality. Implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels of food, beverages, and supplies. Conduct regular stock checks, place orders, and minimize waste.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards. Conduct regular inspections and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Ambiance and Cleanliness: Maintain the ambiance of the rooftop venue, ensuring it is clean, well-arranged, and inviting. Oversee the setup and breakdown of service areas.
  • Financial Management: Assist in budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting for the rooftop venue. Monitor expenses and revenue to achieve financial targets.
  • Promotional Activities: Assist in developing and implementing promotional activities and events to attract and retain guests.
  • Training and Development: Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for staff. Encourage professional growth and skill enhancement.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on operational performance, guest feedback, and staff performance to the Restaurant Manager or Assistant F&B Manager.

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in hospitality management or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory role within the food and beverage industry, preferably in a rooftop or similar high-end setting.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in Arabic and English is required.
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
    • Proficiency in inventory management and cost control.
    • Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
    • Ability to handle high-pressure situations and resolve conflicts effectively.
    • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
    • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
    • Manual dexterity for handling equipment and utensils.
