Supervisor Signature Restaurant

The Supervisor, of Signature Restaurant, is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring a high standard of service, food quality, and guest satisfaction. This role involves supervising staff, managing inventory, maintaining health and safety standards, and assisting in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to enhance the guest experience. The Supervisor will also play a key role in creating a welcoming and memorable dining environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Management: Oversee daily operations of the Signature Restaurant, ensuring efficient service and adherence to company standards. Address operational issues promptly and effectively.
  • Customer Service: Ensure all team members deliver exceptional customer service. Greet guests, handle inquiries, and professionally resolve complaints. Strive to exceed guest expectations and create a memorable dining experience.
  • Staff Supervision: Lead, mentor, and supervise restaurant staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations. Foster a positive and productive work environment.
  • Quality Control: Monitor food preparation, presentation, and service to ensure consistency and high quality. Work with the kitchen staff to maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels of food, beverages, and supplies. Conduct regular stock checks, place orders, and minimize waste.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards. Conduct regular inspections and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Financial Management: Assist in budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting for the Signature Restaurant. Monitor expenses and revenue to achieve financial targets.
  • Menu Development: Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and update menus. Ensure a diverse and appealing selection of food and beverages.
  • Event Coordination: Oversee the planning and execution of special events and private functions. Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless service.
  • Training and Development: Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for restaurant staff. Encourage professional growth and skill enhancement.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on operational performance, guest feedback, and staff performance to the Restaurant Manager or Assistant F&B Manager.


  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in hospitality management, culinary arts, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role within a high-end or signature restaurant.
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
    • Proficiency in inventory management and cost control.
    • Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
    • Financial acumen and experience with budgeting and financial reporting.
    • Ability to handle high-pressure situations and resolve conflicts effectively.
    • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
    • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
    • Manual dexterity for handling equipment and utensils.
