Supervisor Lobby Lounge

The Supervisor of, Lobby Lounge is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Lobby Lounge, ensuring a high standard of service, customer satisfaction, and overall guest experience. This role involves supervising staff, maintaining the ambiance and cleanliness of the lounge, managing inventory, and assisting in promotional activities. The Supervisor will also address guest inquiries and resolve issues to ensure a welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Management: Oversee the daily operations of the Lobby Lounge, ensuring efficient service and adherence to company standards. Address operational issues promptly and effectively.
  • Customer Service: Ensure all team members provide exceptional customer service. Greet guests, handle inquiries, and professionally resolve complaints.
  • Staff Supervision: Lead, mentor, and supervise Lobby Lounge staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations. Foster a positive and productive work environment.
  • Quality Control: Monitor the preparation and presentation of beverages and snacks to ensure consistency and high quality. Implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels of beverages, snacks, and supplies. Conduct regular stock checks, place orders, and minimize waste.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards. Conduct regular inspections and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Ambiance and Cleanliness: Maintain the ambiance of the Lobby Lounge, ensuring it is clean, well-arranged, and inviting. Oversee the setup and breakdown of service areas.
  • Financial Management: Assist in budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting for the Lobby Lounge. Monitor expenses and revenue to achieve financial targets.
  • Promotional Activities: Assist in developing and implementing promotional activities and events to attract and retain guests.
  • Training and Development: Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for Lounge staff. Encourage professional growth and skill enhancement.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on operational performance, guest feedback, and staff performance to the Restaurant Manager or Assistant F&B Manager.

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in hospitality management or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory role within the food and beverage industry, preferably in a lounge or similar setting.
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
    • Proficiency in inventory management and cost control.
    • Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
    • Ability to handle high-pressure situations and resolve conflicts effectively.
    • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
    • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
    • Manual dexterity for handling equipment and utensils.
