Job Description


Job Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to patrons by greeting them warmly, taking orders accurately, and attending to their needs throughout their dining experience.
  2. Menu Knowledge: Have a thorough understanding of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and specials, to answer customer questions and make recommendations.
  3. Order Taking: Take food and beverage orders from customers, input orders accurately into the POS system, and ensure timely delivery to the kitchen or bar.
  4. Upselling: Recommend additional items such as appetizers, desserts, or specialty drinks to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
  5. Food and Beverage Delivery: Serve food and beverages to customers promptly and accurately, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to quality standards.
  6. Check Handling: Present checks to customers, process payments accurately, and handle cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment in accordance with established procedures.
  7. Table Maintenance: Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, including clearing dishes, resetting tables, and ensuring adequate supplies of utensils, napkins, and condiments.
  8. Communication: Effectively communicate with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other servers to coordinate order delivery and ensure smooth service flow.
  9. Problem-Solving: Address any customer concerns or complaints promptly and professionally, seeking assistance from management when necessary to resolve issues satisfactorily.
  10. Compliance: Adhere to food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations at all times, ensuring a safe and enjoyable dining environment for customers.
