Job Description

Supervisor – Food & Beverage

**Job Responsibilities:**

1. **Team Management:** Supervise and coordinate the activities of the F&B staff, including servers, bartenders, hosts/hostesses, and support staff, to ensure efficient and smooth operations.

2. **Customer Service:** Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained at all times, addressing any customer concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.

3. **Training and Development:** Provide training to F&B staff on service standards, product knowledge, and operational procedures, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

4. **Scheduling:** Develop and maintain staff schedules, taking into account labor requirements, peak business hours, and employee availability, to ensure adequate coverage while optimizing labor costs.

5. **Inventory Management:** Oversee inventory levels of food, beverages, and supplies, conducting regular stock checks, and placing orders as needed to maintain optimal inventory levels and minimize waste.

6. **Quality Control:** Monitor the quality and presentation of food and beverages, ensuring adherence to established standards and addressing any deviations promptly.

7. **Operational Support:** Assist with various operational tasks as needed, including but not limited to seating guests, taking orders, processing payments, and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.

8. **Health and Safety Compliance:** Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and guidelines in all F&B operations, including food handling, sanitation, and workplace safety.

9. **Performance Evaluation:** Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to F&B staff, recognizing achievements and addressing areas for improvement to maintain a high-performing team.

10. **Communication:** Maintain open and effective communication with management, staff, and other departments, providing updates on operational issues, customer feedback, and staff concerns.

**Qualifications and Skills:**

1. **Experience:** Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role in the food and beverage industry is typically required.

2. **Leadership Skills:** Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve goals and deliver exceptional service.

3. **Customer Focus:** Excellent customer service skills with a focus on ensuring a positive experience for guests.

4. **Communication Skills:** Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with staff, customers, and management.
