Bartender

As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests while providing exceptional service and crafting delicious cocktails. Your expertise in mixology, attention to detail, and ability to engage with guests will contribute to an enjoyable and memorable experience in the bar area. Responsibilities:

1. Greet guests warmly as they approach the bar and engage with them in a friendly and professional manner.
2. Take drink orders from guests, providing recommendations and describing specialty cocktails, beer, wine, and other beverages.
3. Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to guests, following recipes and standards for quality and presentation.
4. Mix ingredients according to recipes, ensuring accurate measurements and proper techniques.
5. Garnish drinks with appropriate garnishes and embellishments, paying attention to detail and aesthetics.
6. Check identification to verify legal drinking age and ensure responsible alcohol service.
7. Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently, processing payments and providing change as needed.
8. Maintain cleanliness and organization behind the bar, including bar tops, equipment, glassware, and utensils.
9. Monitor and restock bar supplies, including liquor, mixers, garnishes, and ice, to ensure availability throughout service.
10. Follow health and safety regulations and sanitation practices at all times.
11. Engage with guests, providing friendly conversation and excellent customer service while respecting their privacy and personal space.
12. Maintain knowledge of current and seasonal drink offerings, as well as special promotions and events.
13. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure efficient service and guest satisfaction.
14. Attend training sessions and seminars to further develop mixology skills and stay informed about industry trends.

Requirements:

1. Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
2. Strong knowledge of mixology and cocktail preparation techniques.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
4. Ability to multitask and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
5. Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
6. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
7. Basic math skills for processing payments and handling cash transactions.
8. Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects as needed.
9. Professional appearance and demeanor.
10. TIPS certification or willingness to obtain certification for responsible alcohol service.
