Hostess

We are seeking a highly motivated and personable individual to join our team as a Premium Dining Restaurant Hostess. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will be responsible for providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere, ensuring that our guests feel comfortable and well taken care of. This position requires a candidate who is fluent in both English and French and is exceptionally well-groomed and well-spoken.

Responsibilities:

• Greeting guests as they arrive and ensuring that they are seated in a timely manner.
• Taking reservations and managing the waitlist.
• Providing menus and answering any questions that guests may have about the menu.
• Escorting guests to their table and presenting them with menus.
• Making recommendations on food and drink options.
• Ensuring that tables are properly set up and that the dining area is clean and tidy.
• Handling guest complaints and resolving any issues that may arise.
• Coordinating with other staff members, including servers and kitchen staff, to ensure that guests receive prompt and courteous service.
• Assisting with other tasks as needed, including answering phones and taking orders.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Very good English communication skills (French is a plus).
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Well-groomed and well-spoken, with a professional demeanor.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
