Job Summary

You will be responsible for installing and securing steel reinforcement bars (rebar) or mesh into concrete forms to strengthen buildings, bridges, and other structures. Given Albania’s mountainous terrain, rebar work is critical for structural stability and retaining walls.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabrication: Cut and bend steel bars using hand tools, rod-bending machines, or blowtorches.

• Installation: Position and secure rebar or mesh in concrete forms according to technical blueprints.

• Fastening: Use tie wire and fasteners to ensure rebar cages remain stable during concrete pours.

• Blueprint Reading: Interpret architectural drawings to determine the size, quantity, and layout of the steel required.

• Compliance: Ensure all work meets Albanian building codes and Eurocode safety standards.
