Scaffolder

We are seeking a skilled, safety-conscious, and reliable Scaffolder to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for erecting, modifying, and dismantling temporary metal scaffolding structures that allow construction crews, painters, and maintenance workers to perform their duties safely at various heights.

## Role & Responsibilities

  • Erection & Dismantling: Safely unload, carry, erect, and dismantle scaffolding equipment (pipes, clamps, wooden planks, and steel frames) according to engineering drawings and project specifications.

  • Structural Integrity: Install guardrails, safety netting, toe boards, and ladders on scaffold platforms to prevent falls and secure the work environment.

  • Inspections: Conduct pre-use and routine inspections of scaffolding materials to identify any defects, damage, or wear before and during assembly.

  • Site Safety: Strictly adhere to all local health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations, ensuring correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including fall arrest harnesses.

  • Material Handling: Clean, maintain, and properly store scaffolding components and tools after use to ensure longevity and safety.

  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with supervisors, safety officers, and other construction trades to ensure scaffolds are built efficiently and fit for purpose.


## Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years of proven experience as a Scaffolder in commercial construction, industrial, offshore, or civil engineering environments.

  • Certifications: Valid industry-standard scaffolding certification (e.g., CISRS, CITB, OSHA, or equivalent local regulatory license).

  • Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret basic structural/engineering drawings and scaffolding layouts.

  • Physical Fitness: Must be physically fit, capable of heavy lifting, climbing heights, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.

  • Height Tolerance: Absolute comfort working at extreme heights.

  • Language: Basic communication skills in English (verbal) to understand safety briefings and site instructions.
