Job Description

Kids Club Supervisor

The Kids Club Supervisor is responsible for the overall management and supervision of the kids’ club, ensuring a safe and fun environment for children. This role involves coordinating activities, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of childcare.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Program Coordination:
    • Plan, organize, and coordinate a variety of age-appropriate activities and programs for children.
    • Develop and implement schedules for daily activities, ensuring a balance of educational and recreational opportunities.
  2. Staff Management:
    • Recruit, train, and supervise a team of Kids Club Attendants.
    • Provide guidance and support to staff members, ensuring a positive and nurturing atmosphere.
    • Conduct regular staff meetings and training sessions.
  3. Safety and Security:
    • Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure the well-being of all children in the Kids Club.
    • Conduct regular safety drills and training for staff.
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  4. Customer Interaction:
    • Greet parents and children, providing information about Kids Club activities and programs.
    • Address parent inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a professional and timely manner.
  5. Facility Maintenance:
    • Ensure the Kids Club space is clean, organized, and well-maintained.
    • Report any maintenance issues and work with relevant departments to address them promptly.
  6. Budget Management:
    • Assist in the development and management of the Kids Club budget.
    • Monitor expenses related to activities, supplies, and staffing.
  7. Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and activities.
    • Prepare regular reports for management on Kids Club performance and improvements.
  8. Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with other departments, such as the front desk, entertainment, and catering, to coordinate joint activities and events.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in childcare or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Certification in CPR and first aid.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create a positive and engaging atmosphere for children.
