Key Responsibilities & Duties Commis Chef

Mise en Place: Execute daily food preparation, including washing, chopping, and portioning high-quality seasonal ingredients.

Culinary Support: Prepare basic dishes, sauces, and components precisely to the specifications of senior chefs.

Consistency: Maintain strict portion control and plating standards to ensure every dish meets the property’s expectations.

Kitchen Operations: Assist in receiving deliveries, rotating stock (FIFO), and ensuring all storage areas are organized.

Hygiene & Safety: Uphold impeccable standards of food safety (HACCP) and maintain a clean, sanitized workstation at all times.
