We are searching for highly skilled and motivated PMS Technicians to join a leading hospitality group in Jumeirah – Mecca, one of the most dynamic destinations in the region. This role is ideal for candidates with solid experience in hotel technology, especially those who have worked with Property Management Systems (PMS) in luxury or 5-star hotel environments.
The PMS Technician will play a vital part in supporting daily hotel operations by ensuring that all PMS functions operate smoothly, efficiently, and without interruption.

In the competitive hospitality sector of Mecca, the PMS Technician holds a critical role in guaranteeing operational excellence, guest satisfaction, and system stability across all hotel departments.


About the Position

The PMS Technician is responsible for maintaining, upgrading, and troubleshooting the hotel’s Property Management System, which includes monitoring functionality, integrating system components, and assisting hotel teams in resolving any technical issues. This position requires a strong understanding of hotel technology, system infrastructure, and digital workflows.

PMS Technicians in Mecca hotels—especially those under renowned brands such as Jumeirah—are expected to deliver top-tier technical support that aligns with international hospitality standards.


Key Responsibilities

1. PMS System Maintenance & Monitoring

  • Manage the daily performance and stability of the Property Management System.

  • Conduct regular system health checks to prevent downtime and ensure smooth hotel operations.

  • Ensure PMS data accuracy, sync integrity, and proper configuration.

2. Technical Troubleshooting

  • Diagnose and resolve PMS-related issues affecting front office, reservations, housekeeping, and revenue teams.

  • Provide timely and professional technical support to hotel employees.

  • Investigate system errors, slowdowns, and integration problems.

3. System Integration & Updates

  • Maintain integrations between PMS and other hotel systems such as: POS, CRS, channel manager, booking engines, and payment gateways.

  • Ensure that all software updates and patches are installed correctly and at the right time.

  • Coordinate with IT department and external vendors during system upgrades.

4. User Training & Support

  • Train front office and operational staff on PMS functionalities.

  • Create simple user guides when needed to enhance staff efficiency and minimize system misuse.

  • Support new employees in onboarding and understanding hotel systems.

5. Data Security & Compliance

  • Ensure data privacy and security in accordance with hotel IT policies.

  • Review system access permissions and user accounts regularly.

  • Assist in system audits and compliance procedures.


Required Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a PMS Technician, IT Support Technician, or Hotel Systems Specialist.

  • Strong background working with hotel PMS platforms (e.g., Opera PMS, Protel, Fidelio, Cloud-based PMS).

  • Experience in 5-star hotels is a significant advantage due to operational complexity.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Good understanding of hotel operations and departmental workflows.

  • Ability to work under pressure and respond quickly to issues.

  • Good communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.


Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with networking basics and server environments.

  • Knowledge of cloud-based hospitality solutions and hotel automation tools.

  • Ability to collaborate with IT teams, vendors, and hotel management.

  • Patience, attention to detail, and customer-service mindset.
