Role Purpose & Accountability

The essence of being a SAUDIA Flight Attendant lies in the perfect balance between Hospitality and Security. Your primary mission is to conduct cabin services while guaranteeing a pleasant and seamless flight experience.

1. Safety & Security Oversight

Safety is our absolute priority. You will be trained to:

• Execute rigorous safety pre-flight checks in accordance with established policies.

• Monitor the cabin during all phases of flight to mitigate risks.

• Handle emergencies with calm authority, ensuring all passengers follow safety protocols.

• Ensure that security measures are strictly adhered to before, during, and after the flight.

2. Premium Service Delivery

You are the face of the SAUDIA brand. This includes:

• Delivering high-quality food, beverage, and in-flight products with a smile.

• Anticipating passenger needs—from providing comfort items to assisting families with children.

• Maintaining the aesthetic and cleanliness of the cabin to reflect our premium standards.

To maintain our gold standard of service, we have specific eligibility criteria. Please review these carefully:

Educational Background Flight Attendant

• Minimum Qualification: High School Diploma.

• Academic Performance: A minimum overall grade of “GOOD“ is required.

• Note: If your degree is from outside the Kingdom, an accreditation letter from the Saudi Ministry of Education is mandatory.

English Proficiency (The STEP Standard)

English is the global language of aviation. To ensure clear communication in the air:

• Mandatory Test: Standardized Test for English Proficiency (STEP) by QIYAS.

• Minimum Score: 72.

• Validity: The test result must not be older than three years from the application date.

• Special Provision: If you haven’t taken the STEP yet, you may apply now and update your score later (provided the job posting is still active).

Physical & Aesthetic Standards Flight Attendant

• Reach: A minimum arm reach of 212 cm (while standing on tiptoes) to ensure you can access emergency equipment in overhead bins.

• Proportion: Height and weight must be in accordance with the SAUDIA Standard Chart.

• Appearance: A pleasant, well-groomed, and professional overall appearance is essential.
