Job Description
Housekeeping
As a Housekeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean, orderly, and well-presented environment for our guests or residents. Your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness will contribute to the overall satisfaction of those we serve.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning and Sanitizing:
- Perform cleaning tasks in assigned areas, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
- Ensure all surfaces are sanitized according to established standards.
- Room Preparation:
- Prepare rooms for guests or residents, including changing linens, making beds, and restocking amenities.
- Waste Management:
- Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables in designated containers.
- Maintenance Support:
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist in maintaining cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Attention to Detail:
- Pay meticulous attention to detail to ensure all areas are thoroughly cleaned and organized.
- Guest Interaction:
- Provide a friendly and welcoming environment for guests.
- Respond to guest requests or concerns in a prompt and professional manner.
- Adherence to Health and Safety Standards:
- Follow established health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Use proper cleaning chemicals and equipment as per safety protocols.
- Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks.
- Communicate effectively with other departments as needed.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and sanitation standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy equipment or supplies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays if required.
