Position Summary

As a Bellboy, you are one of the first faces guests see upon arrival — and one of the last they remember when they leave. Your role is critical to delivering a warm, efficient, and personalized welcome. You will assist guests with their luggage, guide them through the hotel facilities, and provide accurate information with a genuine smile.

This position Bellboy  requires physical stamina, strong communication skills, and a passion for hospitality. You will also support guest requests, handle deliveries, and maintain a welcoming atmosphere in the lobby. The Bellboy plays a key part in ensuring a smooth guest journey, from check-in to departure.

Key Responsibilities Bellboy

1. Guest Arrival & Departure Assistance

• Greet all guests promptly and courteously upon arrival at the entrance or reception area.

• Assist with unloading and transporting guest luggage to and from rooms or vehicles.

• Escort guests to their rooms, explain room features, and offer relevant hotel information.

• Handle guest departures by collecting luggage, arranging transportation, and offering courteous farewells.

2. Lobby Presence & Guest Support

• Maintain a professional and polished appearance while remaining visible and attentive in the lobby.

• Provide directions, local recommendations, and respond to guest questions and concerns.

• Monitor guest arrivals and VIPs to ensure special attention is provided.

• Coordinate with reception, concierge, and valet to ensure smooth guest transitions.

3. Luggage & Storage Management

• Tag and store guest luggage securely when needed (early arrivals, late departures, etc.).

• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the bell desk and luggage storage area.

• Ensure all guest property is handled with care and confidentiality.

4. Transportation & Errand Services

• Assist with hailing taxis, coordinating shuttle services, or organizing guest transport upon request.

• Deliver packages, messages, or guest items to rooms promptly and professionally.

• Run errands for guests or hotel departments, ensuring accuracy and discretion.

5. Safety, Security & Teamwork

• Report any suspicious activity, safety concerns, or lost items to the appropriate authority.

• Support emergency evacuations or guest assistance protocols when required.

• Collaborate with housekeeping, engineering, and front desk teams to fulfill guest needs quickly.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar guest-facing role in hospitality is preferred.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Fluency in English required; other languages such as Arabic or French are a plus.

• Good knowledge of local attractions, directions, and hotel facilities.

• Ability to lift and carry heavy luggage (up to 25 kg or more).

• Well-groomed, energetic, and guest-focused personality.

• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

• Basic knowledge of safety and security protocols in guest service.
