Waiter
A Waiter is responsible for delivering excellent customer service in a restaurant or hotel environment. The role involves taking food and beverage orders, serving guests, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a clean dining area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests warmly and professionally.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Serve food and drinks in a timely manner, ensuring high-quality service.
- Address all guest requests and needs promptly.
- Assist in setting up and cleaning tables before and after service.
- Handle payments, including cash and credit card transactions, and provide change to customers.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of the menu, including daily specials and promotions.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared and served correctly.
- Keep the dining area clean and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
- Professionally address and resolve any customer complaints or issues.
- Adhere to health and safety standards to maintain a clean and safe environment for both guests and staff.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Waiter or in a similar customer service role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and dedication to exceptional customer service.
- Capability to multitask and handle stressful situations effectively.
- Knowledge of food and beverage offerings is a plus.
- Basic math skills for processing payments.
- A friendly, approachable attitude with a professional appearance.
