Food & Beverage Supervisor

Position Summary
As a Food & Beverage (F&B) Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations within the food and beverage department. This leadership role requires ensuring exceptional service standards, managing staff, and fostering seamless coordination between the kitchen and dining areas to deliver an outstanding guest experience.


Key Responsibilities of an F&B Supervisor

  1. Team Management
    • Supervise and coordinate food and beverage staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
    • Train, guide, and motivate team members to uphold service excellence and professionalism.
    • Monitor staff performance, providing constructive feedback and regular evaluations.
  2. Guest Experience
    • Ensure all guests receive prompt, courteous, and exceptional service.
    • Handle customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally, striving for quick resolution.
  3. Operations Oversight
    • Monitor food and beverage preparation to ensure adherence to health, safety, and quality standards.
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization in dining and service areas, upholding company and regulatory standards.
  4. Coordination and Communication
    • Liaise between the kitchen and service teams to ensure efficient and timely food delivery.
    • Resolve service-related issues that arise during operations.
  5. Inventory and Cost Control
    • Assist in managing inventory levels, placing orders, and maintaining accurate stock records.
    • Support cost control efforts by minimizing waste and ensuring efficient resource use.
  6. Policy Enforcement and Development
    • Enforce company policies related to service, safety, and cleanliness.
    • Contribute to planning and executing promotional activities or special events.

Qualifications for the F&B Supervisor Role

  • Experience: Previous experience in a supervisory role within the F&B industry is essential.
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to manage and inspire a diverse team.
    • Excellent communication abilities to interact effectively with staff and guests.
    • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and operational best practices.
    • Problem-solving and decision-making skills to handle high-pressure situations.
  • Flexibility: Availability to work during evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, and move around for extended periods during shifts.
