Job Description
Waitress
As a Waitress, you will provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced dining environment. Your primary responsibilities include taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that guests have a pleasant dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers as they arrive and provide menus.
- Take customer orders accurately and promptly.
- Serve food and beverages to tables in a timely manner.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by checking in regularly and addressing any concerns.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
- Process payments and handle cash transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area.
- Assist in setting up and closing down the dining area as needed.
- Uphold restaurant standards and policies, including hygiene and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a waitress or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for handling payments.
- Knowledge of food and beverage menus.
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
- Capability to lift and carry items up to a certain weight.
