Position Overview

We are looking for enthusiastic, dedicated, and service-oriented Waitress and Waiter to join our dynamic hospitality team. Key Responsibilities Waitress and Waiter

1. Guest Service Excellence

• Greet guests warmly and with a smile as they enter the restaurant.

• Escort guests to their tables and present menus.

• Provide accurate information about menu items, specials, and daily promotions.

• Make thoughtful recommendations based on guest preferences, dietary needs, or allergies.

• Maintain a strong knowledge of the food and beverage menu, including ingredients and preparation methods.

2. Order Management

• Take customer orders clearly and accurately using order-taking systems or POS terminals.

• Communicate special requests and dietary restrictions to the kitchen and bar staff.

• Ensure that orders are prepared correctly and delivered promptly to the right table.

• Follow up with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any issues or concerns.

3. Food & Beverage Service Waitress and Waiter

• Serve food and drinks in accordance with the restaurant’s standards and presentation guidelines.

• Refill beverages and attend to guest requests throughout the meal.

• Clear tables discreetly and efficiently between courses and after meals.

• Present bills, process payments, and return correct change or receipts.

4. Cleanliness and Organization

• Set up, clean, and reset tables for service.

• Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, service stations, and all front-of-house areas.

• Ensure that all tableware, cutlery, and glassware are clean and properly arranged.

• Follow sanitation and hygiene procedures to ensure guest safety and regulatory compliance.

5. Teamwork and Communication

• Collaborate with fellow wait staff, hosts, kitchen team, and supervisors to ensure seamless service.

• Communicate any guest feedback or service challenges to the management team.

• Assist colleagues during peak hours, large events, or special functions.

• Attend regular briefings, trainings, or staff meetings as required.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality or service-related training is a plus.

• Previous experience in a restaurant, café, or hotel is preferred but not mandatory.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Friendly, approachable, and guest-focused attitude.

• Ability to work well under pressure and multitask effectively.

• High standards of personal hygiene and presentation.

• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for handling bills and payments.

Physical Requirements Waitress & Waiter

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours or more per shift).

• Able to lift and carry trays, plates, and glassware (up to 20 lbs).

• Manual dexterity to handle tools, tableware, and equipment safely.

• Must be able to bend, stretch, reach, and perform repetitive motions.
