Waiter and Waitress


Location: Doha, Qatar
Department: Food & Beverage
Reports To: Restaurant Supervisor / Restaurant Manager

Job Summary:

As a Waiter and Waitress, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to guests, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience.

Key Responsibilities Waiter and Waitress:

  • Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner

  • Present menus and provide detailed information when asked (e.g., about portions, ingredients)

  • Take accurate food and beverage orders

  • Serve orders promptly and ensure guest satisfaction

  • Check guests’ identification to ensure legal drinking age (if applicable)

  • Handle bills and process payments

  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of tables and dining areas

  • Follow all food safety and hygiene standards

  • Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff for timely and accurate service

  • Handle guest complaints professionally and promptly

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

  • Previous experience in a similar role is a plus

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Basic math skills for handling bills

  • Ability to work under pressure and in a team

  • Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays

  • Knowledge of a foreign language (especially English) is an advantage

  • Ability to interact with a diverse range of guests and respond to special needs

  • Attention to detail to ensure orders are served accurately and efficiently
