Job Description


As a Butler, you will provide personalized, exceptional service to guests, ensuring their stay is comfortable, memorable, and exceeds expectations. Your role involves anticipating guest needs, managing requests, and providing a high level of discreet and professional service.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Guest Services:
    • Welcome guests upon arrival and assist with check-in procedures.
    • Provide personalized service, including unpacking and packing luggage, arranging laundry and dry cleaning, and organizing personal belongings.
    • Anticipate guest needs and preferences, offering tailored recommendations and services.
  2. In-Room Services:
    • Serve meals, beverages, and snacks in guest rooms or private dining areas.
    • Arrange and oversee in-room amenities such as flowers, entertainment, and special requests.
    • Ensure guest rooms are immaculate, and organized, and meet high standards of cleanliness and comfort.
  3. Concierge Duties:
    • Assist guests with booking reservations for dining, spa treatments, transportation, and local attractions.
    • Provide information about the hotel, its services, and the surrounding area.
    • Coordinate special requests, such as arranging private events, celebrations, or excursions.
  4. Communication and Coordination:
    • Liaise with other hotel departments to fulfill guest requests and ensure seamless service.
    • Maintain open lines of communication with guests, addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
    • Document guest preferences and feedback to enhance future stays.
  5. Professionalism and Discretion:
    • Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
    • Exhibit a courteous and attentive demeanor at all times.
    • Handle sensitive information and situations with tact and diplomacy.
  6. Administrative Duties:
    • Maintain accurate records of guest interactions, services provided, and special requests.
    • Manage inventory of in-room amenities, supplies, and equipment.
    • Assist with check-out procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient departure.


  • High school diploma or equivalent; degree in hospitality management or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a butler, personal assistant, or in a similar high-end service role.
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to anticipate and address guest needs proactively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, walk, and move around the hotel for extended periods.
  • Capable of lifting and carrying items up to 25 pounds.
  • Comfortable performing various physical tasks, such as bending, reaching, and kneeling.

Work Environment:

  • Guest rooms, suites, and various areas within the hotel/resort.
  • Frequent interaction with guests, staff, and management.
  • Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
