Spa Supervisor

As a Spa Supervisor, you will oversee the spa’s daily operations, ensuring that guests receive exceptional service and a relaxing experience. Your role includes managing staff, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and service, and assisting with administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of the spa.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Operations Management:
    • Supervise daily spa operations to ensure the highest standards of service and cleanliness.
    • Oversee scheduling and coordination of spa appointments to maximize efficiency and guest satisfaction.
    • Monitor inventory levels of spa supplies and products, ordering as necessary to maintain adequate stock.
  2. Staff Supervision:
    • Lead, motivate, and manage spa staff, including therapists, receptionists, and attendants.
    • Conduct regular training sessions and meetings to ensure staff are knowledgeable and up-to-date on spa services, products, and protocols.
    • Handle staff scheduling, ensuring adequate coverage for all shifts.
  3. Guest Service:
    • Greet and assist guests, addressing questions, concerns, or complaints professionally and carefully.
    • Ensure a welcoming and calming environment for all spa visitors.
    • Promote spa services, packages, and products to enhance guest experiences and drive sales.
  4. Quality Control:
    • Perform regular inspections of the spa facilities to ensure they meet cleanliness and maintenance standards.
    • Implement and uphold health and safety regulations and procedures.
    • Collect and analyze guest feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  5. Administrative Duties:
    • Assist the Spa Manager with administrative tasks, including financial reporting, budgeting, and payroll.
    • Maintain accurate records of spa services, inventory, and guest preferences.
    • Ensure all spa operations comply with company policies and procedures.
  6. Marketing and Promotion:
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement promotional strategies and events.
    • Create attractive displays and promotional materials to highlight spa offerings.
    • Network with other departments to cross-promote services and increase guest engagement.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; degree in hospitality management or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within a spa, wellness, or hospitality environment.
  • Strong knowledge of spa services, treatments, and products.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using spa management software and MS Office applications.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, walk, and move around the spa for extended periods.
  • Capable of lifting and carrying spa supplies and equipment (up to 25 pounds).
  • Comfortable working in various environments, including treatment rooms, reception areas, and storage spaces.

Work Environment:

  • Spa and wellness facilities within the hotel/resort/spa.
  • Frequent interaction with guests, staff, and management.
  • Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
