Travel Consultant
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist clients in planning and booking domestic and international travel, including flights, accommodation, transportation, and tours.
- Provide detailed information on destinations, costs, travel insurance, visa requirements, and other travel-related services.
- Customize travel packages to meet the preferences and budget of clients.
- Handle travel-related inquiries and resolve issues such as cancellations, rescheduling, and changes.
- Stay up-to-date with travel industry trends, promotions, and special deals.
- Maintain customer records, process payments, and issue tickets and confirmations.
- Coordinate with airlines, hotels, and other travel service providers.
- Ensure compliance with travel policies and regulations.
Requirements:
- Experience as a travel consultant or in a similar role (preferred).
- Knowledge of travel booking systems (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple bookings.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus.
- Familiarity with Qatar’s travel market and global travel trends.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in hospitality, tourism, or a related field (preferred).
- Certification in travel consultancy (optional).
